Born in London in 1959, I am a self-taught artist living in Suffolk with my wife Deborah and our two children.

Since picking up my first fine art coloured pencil I have been constantly surprised at how versatile this under-valued medium can be.  Although I have never had any formal art training, I hope that my love of drawing and of using this wonderful medium, shows through in my work.

I enjoy teaching coloured pencil painting techniques and drawing skills, both locally in Suffolk and to Art Groups around East Anglia. I am an accredited demonstrator for Derwent Cumberland Pencil Company and my work can be found in private collections in the UK and Europe.

I am a founder member, award winner and holder of silver signature status with the Coloured Pencil Society, I am delighted to see how far the Society has come as a body of artists and I look forward to seeing our medium attain the levels of popularity and acceptance it so justifiably deserves.

I exhibit locally, and have had a number of successful solo exhibitions, including a one-man show at the National Horse Racing Museum in Newmarket.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to commission a piece or buy any of the artwork that is available in the Galleries section. I hope you will enjoy browsing my website for more information and examples of my work.
